What we handle
Flow-through for chilled and dry freight
A cross dock gets product from inbound trailer to outbound trailer quickly. We receive your load by appointment and check it against your paperwork. Then we break it down by destination, build outbound pallets and stage them for pickup. Because our docks sit inside food-grade facilities, chilled product stays at 0–4 °C through the whole process.
Common uses include splitting full truckloads into store or customer orders, consolidating several suppliers onto one outbound load, and holding product for a short time until a pickup appointment. If some of the product needs to stay longer, we can move it into pallet storage in the same building.
Every pallet that crosses our dock is logged by item and lot. You can follow receipts and shipments through the online inventory portal instead of calling for updates.

Common questions
What is cross docking?
Cross docking means we receive your inbound load, sort or break it down, and reload it onto outbound trucks, usually without putting it into long-term storage. It cuts storage time and handling for product that is only passing through.
Can cold product be cross-docked?
Yes. Chilled product is handled in our refrigerated space at 0–4 °C, so it stays in temperature while it is sorted and staged.
How is storage billed?
Storage is billed per pallet on a weekly cycle. Handling and value-added services such as pick/pack or labelling are quoted separately, so you only pay for what you use. We do not publish rates because every account is quoted on its volume and handling.
How fast can we start?
Most new customers are receiving product within 1 to 2 weeks of approving their quote. That time covers setting up your items, labelling rules and portal access.
Can you move product between your warehouse and our plant?
Yes. We can arrange shuttle moves between our facilities and your plant or distribution centre. Include your origin and destination in the quote request.
How do deliveries work?
Receiving and shipping are by appointment, booked at least 24 hours in advance. Carriers delivering to YYZ-2 in Toronto can book a dock appointment online. For YYZ-3 and YYZ-4, call 877-361-2576. Our office is open Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
